DIY- Monogram Pumpkins

This is a DIY of how to make stylish monogram pumpkins that you could put just about anywhere!!!! I made mine for my wedding and mine are now on my porch! I think they are quite beautiful and lovely fall decorations!!!

WHAT YOU NEED:
-Pumpkin(s)
-Wet and dry towel to prep/clean pumpkin from any dirt
-Metal tacks (purchased mine from Walmart)
-Computer paper
-Printer
OPTIONAL:
-Satin clear Spray Paint
-Glitter

LETS GET STARTED!
Step 1: Pick your pumpkin or pumpkins, any color will work I picked white for my wedding to have more of the Cinderella type feel
Step 2: Clean/prep your pumpkin(s) with a damp towel, and make sure you dry it completely
Step 3: Get on your computer and pick a font you like and pick your letter(s) you would like to use make sure you use a big enough font (this is how large your letter will be on your pumpkin) and print the letters out
Step 4: Cut the letter out so its on a smaller square so you dont have to fuss with the 8x10 piece of paper on your pumpkin
Step 5: Tape your square piece of paper with your letter on it in the center of your pumpkin. Make sure you pick the best side of your pumpkin!
Step 6: Push your tacks into the letter. Overlapping the tacks alittle gives you the best turn out!
Step 7: Once you have your completed letter with tacks on the paper. Un-tape the piece if paper and slowly pull/peel the paper from underneath the tacks. (YOU DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE YOUR ALREADY PLACED TACKS! YOU ARE PEELING THE PAPER AWAY FROM THE TACKS!!) Patience is key!!!
OPTIONAL STEPS!
Step 8: Take your pumpkin to a well ventilated area
Step 9: Spray the top of your pumpkin with satin clear spray paint lightly, short back and forth strokes
Step 10: Sprinkle your glitter lightly on the top of the pumpkin
Step 11: Once you have the amount of glitter that satisfies your taste spray a final coat of spray paint on top to seal that glitter down & let dry!

Your finished!!!! I hope you enjoyed this little fall DIY!
I have attached some photos of my finished products!
