Purple Night Out Makeup Tutorial

I am going to show you how to create a night out look using a purple color palette! Meet Marlena she is my model for this tutorial! Start out with a clean "canvas" to work with! Wash face with something gentle to avoid extra redness.
Next apply a foundation all over you face and blended down to your neck! Apply blush to cheek bones. And also prime your eyes with a primer. I use elf eyeshadow primer, its cheap and works great!
Next start with a black eyeshadow with a small brush, I used a concealer brush by elf and it works great! I lined half of her bottom lash line and did a small wing!
Choose 3 different shades of the same color! I used purple so I did a dark blueish purple, a purple and light purple! Take your darkest shade and work at the outer corner of the eye toward the middle of the eye! Then take your lightest color and take it from the middle to your inner corner eye! Then take your medium shade and blend in the middle to mess the other two colors together! Yours should look something like this!
Take a light color eye shadow such as white, or beige for a highlight under your brows! (also helps blend out purple! In this case I used a white!
Finish lining your eyes with your black eye shadow like you did with your bottom lash line! Then put on some false eye lashes to complete your look! I used half lashes! I think they have a more natural look when your eyes are open!!
and here is your finished night out look!
This is my very first makeup tutorial! I know its not perfect but I had fun! Thinking a video may be the best bet for next time! Hope you guys enjoyed!! xoxo

Simple Glow Soybean Candle Review & Giveaway! (CLOSED)

Fall is one of my favorite seasons to burn candles! Nothing is better than walking into a good smelling house with candles lit because it adds a very homey and relaxing feel to the atomosphere! I recently got the opportunity to review a Simple Glow Soybean Candle. This is a 16oz. jar candle in the scent "Blueberry Muffin".

When I received this candle obviously the first thing I did was open the top and smelled it! I was not disappointed at all. This Blueberry Muffin scent is perfect; not to strong that its overwelming and not to lite that you cant smell it. It fills the room with a delicious scent that makes YOU even think you have blueberry muffins baking in the oven!! The candle comes with a ribbon tied around the jar and the lid has a cute cut out design, picture is below!

I know some candles don't burn even and you have a lot of candle/scent that is wasted. These soybean candles burn nice and even. The picture below shows you that the candle melts all the way to the side of the jar!

With the holidays approaching, these would be great for you to burn in your house if you're having family and friends over for a get together, or even for holiday gifts!!!! I recommend these products 100%.

REVIEW

I think this company is great how they take all the above info and that how they rate a product with the GREEN PRODUCT STANDARD! Honestly you wouldn't think of how much stuff you buy/use that you just throw away! It definitely could be recycled or reused! I think we all need to think of how it affects our environment! This website made me step back and think of what I could do in order to help! Simply just recycling would be a great first step! Almost everything you buy now a days have the little recycle emblem on it. This is the standard that are applied to every product sold by BUYGREEN.COM and GREENCOUTURE.COM

KENRA GIVEAWAY!!! (CLOSED)

KENRA COLOR CARE DRY SHAMPOO AND KENRA BLOW-DRY SPRAY
Who doesn't like to rock second day hair or like thermal protection while blow drying!! I am in love with this stuff when I straighten my naturally crazy curly hair! The blow dry spray is great when I blow dry my hair straight because it protects my hair from the heat! I flat iron my hair and normally keep it straight a few days since it takes me forever to straighten it! By the second day I get a little oily at the scalp so I spray some dry shampoo on my roots and brush it through my ends and I'm good to go!!! Giveaway is open to US ONLY and will close on 10/22/12 at 12:01am EST. a Rafflecopter giveaway

DIY- Monogram Pumpkins

This is a DIY of how to make stylish monogram pumpkins that you could put just about anywhere!!!! I made mine for my wedding and mine are now on my porch! I think they are quite beautiful and lovely fall decorations!!!

WHAT YOU NEED:
-Pumpkin(s)
-Wet and dry towel to prep/clean pumpkin from any dirt
-Metal tacks (purchased mine from Walmart)
-Computer paper
-Printer
OPTIONAL:
-Satin clear Spray Paint
-Glitter

LETS GET STARTED!
Step 1: Pick your pumpkin or pumpkins, any color will work I picked white for my wedding to have more of the Cinderella type feel
Step 2: Clean/prep your pumpkin(s) with a damp towel, and make sure you dry it completely
Step 3: Get on your computer and pick a font you like and pick your letter(s) you would like to use make sure you use a big enough font (this is how large your letter will be on your pumpkin) and print the letters out
Step 4: Cut the letter out so its on a smaller square so you dont have to fuss with the 8x10 piece of paper on your pumpkin
Step 5: Tape your square piece of paper with your letter on it in the center of your pumpkin. Make sure you pick the best side of your pumpkin!
Step 6: Push your tacks into the letter. Overlapping the tacks alittle gives you the best turn out!
Step 7: Once you have your completed letter with tacks on the paper. Un-tape the piece if paper and slowly pull/peel the paper from underneath the tacks. (YOU DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE YOUR ALREADY PLACED TACKS! YOU ARE PEELING THE PAPER AWAY FROM THE TACKS!!) Patience is key!!!
OPTIONAL STEPS!
Step 8: Take your pumpkin to a well ventilated area
Step 9: Spray the top of your pumpkin with satin clear spray paint lightly, short back and forth strokes
Step 10: Sprinkle your glitter lightly on the top of the pumpkin
Step 11: Once you have the amount of glitter that satisfies your taste spray a final coat of spray paint on top to seal that glitter down & let dry!

Your finished!!!! I hope you enjoyed this little fall DIY!
I have attached some photos of my finished products!

IF YOU TRY THIS YOURSELF I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOUR VERSION!
