Revlon Nail Art: Moon Candy SuperNova First Impression Review

As you all know, I posted a picture earlier today of the new Revlon Nail Art Moon Candy collection. I immediately wanted to get my hands on these nifty nail polish duos to try. I went to 3 stores trying to find them and they were sold out or only had the 2 colors I wasn't really crazy about. The last place I went I saw the last SuperNova Polish which was in my picks that I wanted to try!

I was very impressed by the base color which is grey. I only had to put 1 coat and it completely covered and was very opaque.

I applied 2 coats of glitter (could have used 3) but I was happy with how 2 looked!

All in all, I think that this is a cool duo that creates a nice effect. I do think they are a little expensive for how much product you get, but that wont stop me from buying more of these polishes. I am looking forward to finding the following colors; Orbit, Satellite and Galactic. I really wanted to try in these colors, but everywhere was sold out today!

If any of you have tried other colors in the Moon Candy collection I would love to hear what you tried!!!

Easy Recipe:Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Here is a quick and easy recipe for Chocolate Chip Banana Bread that you and your kids will love!

*INGREDIENTS*
3 medium ripe banana
1 cup sugar
2 eggs

1/2 cup butter
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup milk chocolate chips

2 T brown sugar (optional)

Once you have all your ingredients we are ready to start!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a loaf pan and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl mash 3 ripe bananas until they are somewhat smooth/ free of large lumps.
Add sugar, butter and 2 eggs stir until eggs are well combined.

Add all of your dry ingredients stir until smooth. Set aside.

In a separate bowl put a little flour in the bowl, pour in half a bag of milk chocolate chips. Roll the chocolate chips until all the chips are coated in flour. This will help them not sink to the bottom while baking.

Fold chocolate chips in bread mixture from earlier.

Pour in loaf pan and bake for 60-65 mins.
You can tell its done by taking a toothpick sticking it in the center, if it comes out clean it is done!

As soon as I take it out of the oven I sprinkle some brown sugar on the top about 2 T. Shut off your oven and pop back in for 5 minutes for sugar to melt.

Once cool flip it out of loaf pan then slice and serve!!!

Easy as that!!! I hope you enjoyed this simple and easy recipe!

Chubby Chap Lip Balm Review/Giveaway

I recently partnered up with Elli-Rose Essentials  for a review/giveaway on their Chubby Chap lip balm. Do you ever lose your lip balms in your purse or pockets? Well... Chubby Chap is the answer! This exciting new  product is over 3 times larger than your average lip balm for easy finding, and that also leads to a longer lasting relationship with your lip balm.

Chubby Chap is made with coconut oil, bees wax, honey, and fragrance oils. It also does not contain petroleum or phthalate. Elli-Rose Essentials makes Chubby Chap lip balms with no fragrance oils, SPF 15 , and also new Jelly Bean flavors as well!  I will list some of Chubby Chap flavors below...

 FLAVORS: -Candy Cane
-Vanilla Butter-cream
-Huckleberry
-Mango
-Oatmeal Cookie
-Original
-Peach Daiquiri
-Pomegranate
-Strawberry Banana
...and more!!!

Chubby Chap lip balms cost around 1 for $6.00 or 4 for $20.00. They are made in America! These will last a long time and are well worth the money. I reviewed the Chubby Chap in Cherry Kiss which has a light cherry smell that is not too over baring. This balm doesn't feel heavy, waxy, or greasy! It is very moisturizing, and honestly helped my lips tremendously. I received a bonus "I <3 my Chubby Chap!" sticker as well that is very cute and is a great little touch!!!
